The Heuvelrug features plenty of animal species, such as squirrels, sheep and cows. Once you set foot into the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, you could come face-to-face with a roe deer or badger; a very special experience indeed. If you think the above animals are not special enough, consider a visit to Paardenkamp (horses), Ouwehands Dierenpark zoo or one of the petting zoos.
